We have answered
the following frequently asked questions to help assist you with
your Web site decisions.
|
| How
fast can I get my site up and operational on the Web? |
 |
Most
projects are complete within 90 days. The time span from commitment
to the Web is dependent on the complexity of the project and how mature
the content for the site is. |
|
Is there a minimum monthly commitment for hosting? |
 |
No,
we understand that business is dynamic in nature. No long term commitments
are required, a simple month to month agreement is identified in the
terms and conditions when you sign up. |
| How
do I select a Web address? |
 |
Identifying
your Web address (URL) is a critical step in your web project. Our
trained staff will work with you to define a short list of candidates
and we can also check for availability with Network Solutions for
you. There are several things to consider when selecting your URL.
Selection can be based on your real name (i.e. bobssurfboardshack.com,
your products and services (i.e. surfboards.com) or potential keywords
we know you will use with your Internet marketing (i.e. your-surfboard-skating-beach-outfitter.com).
Or you can select multiple web address and have them point to the
same file on the server. |
| Our
business already has a Web address can I still use it? |
 |
Yes,
we will gladly move an existing Web address to our servers. A one
time fee of $50.00 does apply. |
| Why
don't you provide dial-up Internet access? |
 |
The
dial-up market is saturated with both small and big business. The
profit margins are low and the investment is high. Also, the future
of the Internet is broadband, cable and DSL connections are already
the preferred connection to the Web. As a plus, our servers and Internet
connections are not loaded up with dial-up connections so your site
will be fast and reliable. |
| Is
there any work you don't do? |
 |
Yes,
we don't support in any way pornography or hate sites. No design,
marketing, consulting, hosting or maintenance. This benefits you also,
these sites consume an incredible amount of bandwidth and all the
other sites on the same server suffer. So since we don't support them
the bandwidth on the sites you will be sharing a server with is conservative
making your site load even faster. |
| What
is a Search Engine? |
 |
They
are large databases of sites on the Web. A user goes in and queries
on a specific keyword to find a related site on the Web. The Search
Engine performs a query and displays results based on the relevance
to the keyword you typed in. |
| How
many Search Engines and Directories are there? |
 |
Hundreds
and hundreds, however over 95% of the traffic on the Web today is
a result of the Search Engines and Directories we submit to. |
| Can
you get our site listed in the top 10 of the Search Engine lists? |
 |
Yes,
together we will identify the keywords you would like to rank well
under and develop a rate structure based on the competition for that
keyword and Search Engine. We even have incentive plans where you
don't pay unless you achieve the desired ranking. |
| What
do I need to provide to have a Web site built? |
 |
We
offer complete "one stop" services, which if desired, can
include a professional writer (copyright), graphic artist, layout
and content manager, project manager and so forth. You can provide
as much input and content for the site as you desire or let our staff
develop it for you. |
| What
is E-Commerce? |
 |
Electronic
commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services over the
Web. Companies can now omit a physical storefront but instead have
a Web presence that allows customers from all over the world to purchase
goods and services 24 hours a day. |
| How
do I make my products available to Web customers? |
 |
It's
easy, we will help you develop a design that is right for you. The
design will include a Shopping Cart with secure online transactions.
The rest is up to you. |
| Can
I accept credit cards on my Web site? |
 |

catalogs, procedures, pricing, technical specifications and develop
it just for the site. |
| How
does the Web site development process work? |
 |
Here is a basic
outline of the steps necessary to develop a site.
Step 1 - Surf,
surf, surf, spend time on the Internet looking at your competition,
finding sites you like (color, layout, content) and write down what
you like.
Step 2 - Brainstorm
major categories of information you would like to cover on you site.
Step 3 - Take
all the content you already have and try to break it into the major
categories you just identified.
Step 4 - Graphics
and layout is next. All our sites are custom built, your graphics
and layout will be developed just for your site. You will provide
general input on the color scheme preferred and the layout desired.
Then our professional design team will go to work. As draft pages
are created we make them accessible via the Web and you are given
the opportunity to view the product as it's built.
Step 5 - The
layout is completed and the content is loaded. As the pages are
built they will be available via the Web for your review.
Step 6 - Customer
review, you review the site in it's entirety and give us any changes
you would like incorporated. We incorporate and your ready for the
Web.
Step 7 - Marketing
starts now, additional pages built specifically for great ranking
within the Search Engines and Directories are targeted for a single
keyword or phrase. Pages are developed and registered and the position
is managed on a recurring basis.
Step 8 - Maintenance
begins and the content is updated, product listings change, etc.
anything that is needed to keep your site accurate and desirable.
Your now on
the Web!

your rank within the Search Engines and Directories. |
